Well, kind folks and gentlepeople, the republicans are about winning. They
unfortunately bit off more than they could chew. So, I think Democrats will win back the white house in 2008. Bush just likes to "Texas me" saber
rattle once in a while when his handlers aren't paying close attention. Perhaps Dubya, our boy, has talked too much with the tail-waggin-the-dog
Veep Cheney lately. Anyhew, Dubya stuck his foot in his mouth. But he
may be letting on more than we know. Hunter Thompson and Norman Mailer are dead and I don't feel too good myself. Onward and upward!
Let's keep fighting the good fight against corruption and world conflagration! Every day is a new hope!

What makes you think Bush was elected?
1. You think Dade County actually went Republican in 2000, or was it some crooked governor and sec of state who rigged that one up?
2. You think all the military absentee ballots actually go Republican - that poor white, Black and Hispanic enlisted actually vote Republican and then forget to properly fill out their ballots with things like signatures?
3. You think Ohio actually went Republican in 2004, or did the Diebold voting machines, owned by the head of the Ohio Republican Party, just happen to sway that election.

I’ve often made the point that Nixon’s henchmen were all about fixing elections. You’ve consistently pooh-poohed that notion. Not in America - there’s no such thing as presidents and presidential candidates being murdered as a means of succession. But we’ve seen it with our own eyes. We’re just more content to believe what we’re told than what we see with our own eyes.

Well, I admit that I haven't been writing anything substantial here recently, so I'll accept that critique. I even explained why, a few posts down. I figured a quick paragraph was better than none, though it's not particularly good.

And? It seems that a quick paragraph and a dash off of "dangerous moron" is fairly glib, also. I know there has to be more substance here somewhere in the murky Cherry Orchard.
